Part of West Washington Street will be closed Monday for repair work.

The Suffolk Department of Public Utilities will have a paving contractor working in the 200 block of West Washington Street on Monday to replace temporary asphalt patches from previous water line repairs, according to a city press release.

The work is expected to begin at 7 a.m. and run through noon. Detours will be in place at Chestnut and North Saratoga streets.
