Police investigate robbery

Suffolk police are investigating an armed robbery that happened early Monday at a local convenience store.
The incident was reported at 1:16 a.m. from the 7-Eleven in the 2100 block of North Main Street, according to a city press release.
Officers arrived on the scene and talked with the clerk, who told them she was robbed at gunpoint by three unknown suspects wearing masks, the release stated. The three took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register and fled the area, according to the press release. Nobody was injured.
