Police seek robber

Police are seeking the public’s help identifying a man who robbed a bank Tuesday morning.
The robbery at the BayPort Credit Union in the 1400 block of North Main Street was reported at 10:20 a.m. Employees said the suspect handed the teller a note demanding money. The man then fled on foot after receiving an undisclosed amount of currency. There were no injuries.
The suspect was described as a black male, 45 to 55 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 180 to 190 pounds, with a mustache and partial goatee. He was wearing a dark shirt and pants, dark colored shoes and black ball cap with a New York Yankees logo.
