Man injured in shooting

Suffolk police are investigating a shooting that was reported early Saturday.

The victim, an adult male, went to a local hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound at about 1:18 a.m., according to a city press release. The wound is not considered life-threatening, the release stated.

The investigation is ongoing, and no further information is currently available.
