Agnes Juanita Cox, 70, passed away Oct. 22, 2017. She was born in Burlington, N.C., the daughter of the late Edgar and Lola Mae Thompson. She was predeceased by her daughter, Kimberly C. Scoggins.

Agnes is survived by her husband of 46 years, Carroll Eugene Cox; daughters, Linda C. Saunders and Marcey C. Rawles; grandchildren, Richie, David, Ashley, and Nichole Perkins, Taylor Mae Saunders, and Gabriel Rawles; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017 at Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery with Pastor John Hunter officiating.
