Cindy Terrill, 57, from Franklin with her grandson Mason Schleeper, 6, from Chesapeake
We’re going Thursday night to Chesapeake Square Mall. They’re having a trunk-or-treat with a DJ. Then we’ll go trick-or-treating in a neighborhood he’s been doing that in since he was 2 years old. He’ll dress up as a policeman.
Christopher Owens, 8, Suffolk
I’m going to see if my grandmother can take us to a haunted house. I’ve never been to one, but I’ve seen a couple of Halloween shows with haunted houses. It seems exciting, and it’s really fun to scream at scary stuff like snakes and spiders.
Travon Eure, 11, Suffolk
I’m going to get some candy from trick-or-treating from different houses, or I might go to something at the library. My costume is going to be a Power Ranger, the red one. He’s the best one and the leader.
Kendra Howard, 26, Suffolk
(My kids and I) plan on going to a church event. They’ll have things like bouncy houses and food and games. I think they’re supposed to have a campfire out there too, roasting marshmallows.
