Dion Scott’s lucky day is Friday. The U.S. Navy sailor said he might play the lottery on other days of the week, but he only seems to win on Friday.

“That’s my lucky day,” he said.

On Friday, Oct. 20, he man stopped at $ Delites, 6550 Hampton Roads Parkway in Suffolk, bought a “10X the Money” scratch-off ticket and won the game’s $100,000 top prize.

“I just started jumping,” he said. “I couldn’t believe it.”

The “10X the Money” game features prizes ranging from $5 to $100,000. He’s the first top winner in the game, which means six $100,000 tickets are unclaimed. The odds of winning the top prize in this game are 1 in 1,049,143, while the odds of winning any prize in “10X the Money” are 1 in 4.28.

Scott said he has no immediate plans for his winnings except to pay bills.
