Shirlie Atkins, 69, of Smithfield, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, at Hunter Holmes McGuire VA Medical Center in Richmond.

A celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Smithfield. Viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel.
