To the editor:

The effort to safely dispose of drugs that a person no longer needs is commendable.

Thanks to the Suffolk Police Department and CVS Pharmacy, Suffolk residents may now dispose of their unwanted drugs in a responsible manner.

This is a great step in the right direction toward preventing and rehabilitating drug addiction. The fewer people who have access to drugs they do not need, the better the chances are to prevent drug addiction.
