Teresa Yvonne Pringle, 42, of C Street, transitioned Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Oliver Pringle Sr. and Bishop Ophelia Paige Pringle. She was preceded in death by her sister, Faye Pringle; uncles, Hugh Goodman Sr., Alvin L. Goodman Jr. and Elder James T. Goodman; and aunt, Mary Oliphant.

Teresa was a graduate of Lakeland High School. She continued her education at Louise Obici School of Nursing and the University of Maryland Eastern Shore and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Walden University. She was currently employed with Sentara Obici Hospital, where she had been a faithful and dedicated employee for 25 years. She was a member of Calvary Cross Restoration Ministries.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Bishop Ophelia Paige Pringle; daughter, Tiphani Nevaeh Copeland, of Suffolk, Trajan Oshea Copeland, of Suffolk; sister, Darnell Denise Bowers, of Norfolk; brother, Oliver Pringle Jr. (Ojay) (Chermia), of Suffolk; nephew, Jarvis Pringle, of Chester, Pa.; nieces, Daleneysia Arnold, of Chester, Pa., Destiny I. Pringle, of Suffolk, Oriel J. Pringle, of Suffolk; aunts, Virginia Warren, of Newport News, the Rev. Katherine Whittington, of Long Island, N.Y., Evelyn Brown, of Wichita Falls, Texas, Marian Anderson, Patricia Brown and Linda G. Wright, all of Suffolk, Christine Goodman, of Bayshore, N.Y., Beverly Goodman, of Suffolk, and Claudia Goodman, of Suffolk; uncles, Raymond Goodman (Laura) and Elder Bobby Goodman Sr. (Kassandra), of Chesapeake; and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 26, 2017, at Balm Church, 523 E. Washington St. Bishop A.S. Hall will deliver the eulogy.
