Jackson Claire Cooper passed away on Nov. 22, 2017, at Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk. She was born Nov. 19, 2017, and during her short life was dearly loved by all who met her.

Claire is survived by her father and mother, Sam and Lee Cooper, of Suffolk; grandparents, Robert and Charlotte Jackson, of Shelby, N.C.; grandfather, Keith Cooper, of Hamilton, Ohio; and grandmother, Ula Cooper, of Charlotte, N.C.

Claire’s family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 1, at R.W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk.

A private memorial service will take place at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Shelby, N.C. Claire’s remains will be interred at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church Columbarium.
