The Warriors, Suffolk’s only football team still playing, will go on the road for their state semifinal game.
Nansemond River High School is one game away from earning a berth to the state championship. Last week they defeated Salem High School on the road 28-27 in overtime to advance to the Class 5 state tournament. Their semifinal opponent will be Highland Springs High School out of the Richmond area.
The game will be played at 4 p.m. Saturday at Highland Springs. Admission for the game will be $10.
