Man wanted for grand larceny

Police are seeking the public’s assistance locating a man who shoplifted about $1,600 worth of jewelry at Walmart.

The incident happened about 2 a.m. Oct. 17 at the Walmart in the 1200 block of North Main Street, according to a city press release.

The suspect is described as a heavyset white male and was wearing a Timberland hooded sweatshirt, partial camouflage ball cap, baggy pants and tennis shoes.
