Deep Creek bests Lady Warriors

Nansemond River High School girls’ basketball team took a 73-63 loss at home to Deep Creek High School.
Nansemond River has a different look this season after graduating several seniors from last year’s team. Senior Briana Autrey led all scorers with 23.
Nansemond River will get a chance to bounce back on Tuesday when they take on Grassfield High School on the road at 7 p.m.
