Gas station robbed

Suffolk police are investigating a commercial armed robbery that happened Wednesday night.
The robbery at the Speedway in the 1500 block of Holland Road was reported at 9:35 p.m., according to a city press release.
The press release stated an unknown black male entered the business, displayed a weapon, took an undetermined amount of currency and fled in a late-model dark blue or black Nissan Maxima.
The man was described as wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and dark gloves. The top part of his face was partially covered by a cut-up T-shirt.
No one was injured during the robbery.
