Police seek man in robbery attempt

Suffolk police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect that attempted to rob a convenience store in November.
The incident happened about 1:12 a.m. Nov. 4 at the Miller Mart in the 2800 block of Pruden Boulevard, according to a city press release.
The male suspect reportedly entered the store and “presented as though he had a firearm,” according to a city press release.
The man was unsuccessful in the robbery attempt and fled the scene on foot. He is described as a heavy-set white male with blond or strawberry blond reddish hair, freckles and facial hair.
There were no injuries as a result of the incident.
