William “Billy” Thomas Bunch Sr., 73, passed away Dec. 10, 2017. He was born in Gatesville, N.C., the son of the late Leroy Isiah Bunch and Evelyn Mae Bunch. He was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Judy Holland Bunch, and his son, William Thomas Bunch Jr. Billy graduated from Chowan High School and later went on to work and retire as a mechanic from Lipton Tea Company. He was a member of Liberty Spring Christian Church.

Billy is survived by his daughters, Aimee B. Foley (James), Amber B. Russell (Shannon); and grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew and Danielle Foley, Thomas and Kevin Kerr.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 14, 2017, at Liberty Spring Christian Church with the Rev. Dr. Chris Surber officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may join the family for a time of visitation from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Parr Funeral Home and Crematory. Memorial donations may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
