An overturned tractor-trailer on Tuesday evening backed up traffic and left the driver with minor injuries.

The accident happened at 6:09 p.m. at the intersection of Carolina and Deer Forest roads, according to a city press release. The truck tipped onto its side, and no additional vehicles were involved.

Traffic was alternated while a tow truck removed the vehicle. The driver suffered minor injuries and was not taken to a hospital.

The cause remains under investigation.
