Marvin Lassiter, 44, of Sunbury, N.C., died Dec. 10, 2017.

Visitation will take place from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 15, 2017, at Community of Hope Funeral Service, 357 Hobbsville Road, Hobbsville, NC 27946. A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday, Dec. 16, 2017, at Zion Tabernacle Baptist Church, 1261 NC Hwy 32, Corapeake, NC 27926. Burial will take place immediately after the funeral in the church cemetery.
