On Dec. 12, 2017, James Eddie Atkinson, of Silver Spring, Md., passed at his residence.

He was a beloved son, brother, friend, cousin and classmate of East Suffolk High School.

The memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at First Baptist Church, 712 Randolph St., NW, Washington, D.C.
