Player of the Week nominees

Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:
- Briana Autrey, senior, Nansemond River High School basketball: Autrey scored 27 points in the Lady Warriors’ win over Indian River High School.
- Dennis Whitehead, senior, King’s Fork High School wrestling: Whitehead recorded the 99th win of his career in a match against Currituck High School.
Vote by 7 p.m. Wednesday by sending an email with the subject “Player of the Week” to sports@suffolknewsherald.com.
