Tommy White, 67, Suffolk
My New Year’s resolution is to complete this facility and have a first-class operation for wild bird rehab. I went all in when I started this. It’s my path and my passion.
Gwen Dozier, 64, Suffolk
I was in a car accident on Nov. 11. I could have lost my life. So, my thing is to be grateful and to be thankful for every day that the Lord has allowed me to remain on this earth.
Becky Salp, 78, Suffolk
Live each day to the fullest and just try to positive and thankful for everything. I have a lot to be thankful for, like my improved health and spending time with my family.
Jill Salp, 45, Richmond
I think just going into the year with a good attitude and being open to the opportunities that present themselves. You stand to learn more and have different, interesting experiences if you’re open to opportunities as they come.
