Benjamin Jethro Tanner Jr., of South Quay Road, Suffolk, died on Jan. 2, 2018, in his home. A service honoring his spirit will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at East End Church of God, 410 East St., Franklin, with Pastor Ralph Richardson III delivering the eulogy; Bishop S.D. Willis is the host pastor. The committal and benediction will be held in Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
