Lakeland High School’s boys’ basketball team visited Deep Creek High School Friday but was unable to get the win.

The Cavs took a 54-44 loss to Deep Creek High School on the road Friday night. The loss followed a win for Lakeland against Hickory High School on Tuesday. Keimari Artis led the way in scoring for the Cavs with 12 points, and Clint Wright Jr. added 11, as the only two players that scored in double-figures for the Cavs.

Lakeland will face Grassfield High School at home at 7 p.m. Monday night.
