The Lady Warriors lost a close game to Grassfield High School 55-48.

Briana Autrey poured in 23 points in the Lady Warriors’ loss to Grassfield. Nansemond River High School girls’ basketball team came out with a vengeance in the first half. A win could have given the Lady Warriors a big boost in confidence.

After the first half of play, the Lady Warriors were up by 11. A big third quarter by Grassfield secured them the lead, and they held onto throughout the fourth quarter.
