Truck strikes train trestle

UPDATED 2:15 p.m.: The roadway was reopened as of 2:05 p.m.
Earlier: A truck struck the train trestle in the 1300 block of Holland Road on Tuesday afternoon.
The accident happened at 12:14 p.m. when a car carrier truck with two vehicles on board struck the trestle and became wedged under it, according to a city press release. There were no injuries.
The roadway is closed, and detours have been set up. Norfolk Southern Railway staff have been contacted to respond, the press release stated.
The roadway was closed for an entire weekend when a tractor-trailer hit it on Aug. 4.
