Richard E. Brown, 69, passed away in Curacao, Lesser Antilles, Monday, Jan. 22, 2018. He was born in Nansemond County on Jan. 14, 1949, to the late Shirley McCoy and Hallie Mae Mizell. He was predeceased by his parents; sisters, Daisy Mae Brown, Annie Taylor, Nancy Norvell; and brothers, Wilbur Lee Brown and Artis Brown. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Glenda Pandt-Brown; sons, Stephen Pandt-Brown and Lorraine Pandt-Brown; two brothers, McOlzer (Ethel) Brown and Redell (Velma) Brown; brother-in-law, Robert Lee Taylor, and sister-in-law, Linda Brown. The memorial service will be held at noon Saturday, Feb. 17, at First Baptist Church South Portsmouth, 1445 Centre Ave., Portsmouth, VA 23704.
