The Lady Saints basketball team grabbed a 44-18 win at home on senior night.

The Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ basketball team heads into the conference tournament with some much needed momentum. The team has won four of its last five games, which included the big win over Hampton Roads Academy Tuesday night.

NSA came out on top in the first quarter leading 19-7. After a so-so second quarter, they turned up the pressure again, outscoring HRA 20-7. Alivia Giles finished with a game high 17 points. Kaylah Brown added 11 points. They were the only two players to score in double figures on either team.

NSA will start their conference tournament on Tuesday.
