Route 460 meeting planned tonight

The Virginia Department of Transportation will hold an informational meeting tonight to present and receive feedback on the potential roadway improvement options under consideration for six-miles of Route 460/58/13, located between the Bowers Hill interchange of Interstate 664/Route 58 in Chesapeake to the interchange of Portsmouth Boulevard (Business Route 460)/Suffolk Northern Bypass U.S. Route in the eastern portion of Suffolk.

The meeting will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Mack Benn Jr. Elementary School, 1253 Nansemond Parkway.

The purpose of the meeting is to give citizens an opportunity to review the project exhibits on display, meet with VDOT representatives and provide input. This will be an open-house format meeting with no formal presentation.
