Dale Otto Duncan, 68, of Suffolk, passed away Feb. 23, 2018. He was born in Whiteville, N.C., to the late Otto and Virginia Dare Duncan. Dale worked as a parts manager at Ciba Chemical Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Dale was a member of St. Mary of the Presentation Catholic Church and American Legion. Dale was a Fourth Degree in the Knights of Columbus. He volunteered at SYAA and was an assistant troop leader with the Boy Scouts.

Dale is survived by his wife of 38 years, S. Michele Duncan; son, Kenneth Joseph Duncan; grandchildren, Bryan Logan and Morgan Virginia Duncan; niece, Patricia Kelly Vigenski Long and husband, Jeffrey; and sister, Betty Russell.

A funeral mass will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, at St. Mary of the Presentation Catholic Church, 202 S. Broad St., Suffolk VA 23434. Inurnment with military honors will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday Feb. 28, 2018, at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.
