Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Gabby Infranco, sophomore, Nansemond-Suffolk Academy softball: Infranco went 4-7 with five runs and eight RBIs in two wins for the Lady Saints. She also had two home runs.
• Nick Arnold, sophomore, Nansemond River High School baseball: Arnold went 2-4 with three runs and two RBIs against Deep Creek High School.
• Mackenzie Johnson, sophomore, Lakeland High School soccer: Johnson scored two goals in the Lady Cavs’ win over I.C. Norcom High School.
• Arryanna Baird, junior, Suffolk Christian Academy softball: Baird earned the pitching win in the Lady Knights’ 12-2 victory over Bishop Sullivan. She allowed three hits and two runs.
