On the morning of her 87th birthday, God gently called Rebecca Beale Francis into eternal rest.
Rebecca, affectionately known as “Buttercup,” was born in Handsom to the late John and Kate Beale.

She leaves to cherish her memory her devoted husband of 62 years, Sandie Francis; children, William Flood, Gregory Francis (Marzina), Timothy Francis (Ellae), Connie Brinkley (Geney), Phyllis Francis Vann and Reginald Francis; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, March 18, 2018, at St. Timothy Baptist Church. She will be laid to rest in the Crocker Funeral Home section of Carver Memorial Cemetery. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
