Nansemond River High School girls’ tennis team won its first out-of-district match this season.

The Lady Warriors hosted Lafayette High School Friday afternoon. They won 8-1 in their first match under new coach Rush Cole. Nansemond River will host Deep Creek High School at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
