The Lakeland High School boys’ soccer team shut out Wilson High School Monday afternoon.

The Cavs went on the road and shut out Wilson 3-0. Lakeland has been on a three-game winning streak under new coach Kevin Dale after he stepped in for Austin Kulp. Things have been going well for Dale, as he has been building chemistry with his team along the way.

“I’m feeling good about where we are right now,” Dale said. “We have the chemistry and the firepower right now to be good. They just have to believe in themselves, and we feel like we are doing that right now.”

Lakeland has a good core to work with along with good first half schedule before district play starts. One goal they have for this season is to improve on the team passing and the chemistry. Dale wants all of his players to take on the responsibility to make the team great. The team will not compete again until after spring break.
