Bulldogs win second in a row

The Bulldog baseball team got its second win of the season with a victory over Indian River.

The King’s Fork High School baseball team went on the road to face Indian River High School in their second game over spring break. They defeated Indian River 12-5, pushing their record to 2-6. Indian River led 3-2 heading into the fifth inning before the Bulldogs took over the game. They scored 10 runs over the next three innings to get the win.

Taajh Waters went 1-4 with three RBIs, one run and a home run. Noah Floyd went 3-4 with three RBIs and a run. Mason Brown went 3-4 with two runs scored. Adam Briggs went 2-3 with two runs and a double. Floyd and Brown handled pitching duties, with Floyd pitching five innings and Brown pitching two.

King’s Fork will go on the road to face Great Bridge High School at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.
