Margaret Lewis, 90, was born on April 28, 1927, to the late Elmon Felton and Mamie Jordan-Felton in Tyner, N.C. She entered into eternal slumber on Thursday, April 12, 2018, at Sentara Obici Hospital.

Ms. Lewis had six sisters and two brothers. She was married to the love of her life, the late Herbert “Skeet” Lewis Jr.

Ms. Lewis leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Donna Bond, Gloria Lewis, Lucius Tommy Owens and Torian Lewis-Johnson; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.

Ms. Lewis’ visitation took place from 3 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. A funeral service will take place at noon Wednesday at Oak Grove Baptist Church, and she will be laid to rest at Carver Memorial Cemetery.
