Marshals seek wanted man

The U.S. Marshals are seeking a man believed to be armed and dangerous who is wanted in the murder of a Suffolk man.
The Marshals have asked for public assistance locating Thomas Nesmith, 24, who fled to New York after the murder and may still be hiding there, according to a Tuesday press release from the U.S. Marshals.
Patrick M. Cochrane, 25, died in the shooting March 1 in Norfolk.
Norfolk Police Department has since charged three individuals with second-degree murder and related charges. Jeremy Harris and Becca Banta were arrested quickly, but Nesmith remains on the run, according to the press release.
U.S. Marshals investigation shows that Nesmith, a known Crips gang member, was in Brooklyn as recently as mid-March, according to the release.
He can be identified by several tattoos on his neck and face. He is described as 6 feet tall, 160 pounds, with brown eyes and black hair.
