Aleisa Knight, 51, was born on April 16, 1967, to Regina Copeland and the late Leroy Knight in Suffolk. She entered into eternal rest at Sentara Obici Hospital on Wednesday, April 18, 2018. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, the late Helen Marie Starks and Ida Mae Bailey, and two special aunts, the late Dorothy Robinson and Annie Maude Bazemore.

She was a former member of St. Phillip’s Pentecostal Holiness and later joined Greater Sweet Beulah Apostolic Church.

Alesia leaves to cherish her memory a loving husband, Lee Anthony Whitfield; her devoted mother, Regina Copeland, and a host of family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 27, at St. Phillip’s Church, and she will be laid to rest in Carver Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 802 Nixon Drive, Suffolk. Professional services with dignity have been entrusted to Crocker Funeral Home Inc.
