Senior Abby Herrod scored four goals in the Lady Saints’ win over Walsingham Academy.

It was fitting for the senior to score four goals in her last regular season home game for the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy girls’ soccer team. NSA defeated Walsingham at home 5-1 last Thursday.

The win for NSA pushed its record to 9-4-1 on the season. Because of the strong season to this point with only two regular season games left, the Lady Saints are ranked No. 4 in the most recent Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association Division II poll. If the Lady Saints finish out the season strong, it will assure them at least one home playoff game.

NSA will face Norfolk Christian School on the road at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday.
