Mary E. Mayberry, 93, passed away on May 20, 2018, in Goose Creek, S.C. She is predeceased by her husband, Ralph W. Mayberry; parents, William and Bertha Ellis; daughter, Ronda Mayberry; and sister, Lydia Estes.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Elizabeth Reynolds, of Goose Creek, S.C., Barbara Mayberry, of Concord N.C.; grandchildren, Wesley Colerider, of Charleston, S.C., Mark Mayberry, of Concord, N.C.; as well as numerous extended family.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Suffolk and volunteered at Wheels on Wheels. Mary was also a member of the Widow’s Club at Obici Hospital. She lived for the last 11 years with her daughter, Elizabeth, in Goose Creek, S.C. Before that she resided in Suffolk for about 40 years.

A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018, in R.W. Baker & Company Funeral Home and Crematory, 509 W. Washington St., Suffolk, VA 23434. Burial will be in Holly Lawn Cemetery.
