Following are this week’s nominees for the Suffolk News-Herald Player of the Week:

• Daiqwaun Faircloth, senior, Nansemond River High School track and field: Faircloth won the regional championship in the 110 meter hurdles.
• Darcy Kilgore, junior, Lakeland High School soccer: Kilgore scored the game-winning goal for the Lady Cavs in their playoff win against Park View High School.
• Bryan Walker, senior, King’s Fork High School track and field: Walker won regional championships in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dash.
