George Edward Boswell Sr., 70, passed away June 3, 2018. He was born in Norfolk, the son of Jessie June Baker Boswell Beach and the late Edward Boswell. George was a U.S. Army veteran. He later went on to own and operate Pioneer Paving serving in the Richmond area. He loved horses.

In addition to his mother, George is survived by his daughter, Brandy M. Boswell; sons and daughter-in-law, George E. Boswell Jr. and Kevin E. Boswell (Krystal); grandchildren, Lina Boswell, Joy Boswell, Lane Hearn, Wyatt, Georgiana, Bret, Justin, Garrett, Haylei and Austin Boswell; sister, Regina B. Sylvia; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne Boswell (Nichole); niece and nephew, Angie Sightler and Brad Allan Sylvia; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018, at Suffolk Church of Christ with Jason Sadler officiating. Burial will follow at Holly Lawn Cemetery. Condolences may be registered online at www.parrfuneralhome.com.
