Zola Kay Shipley, 64, of Suffolk, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2018. Born Jan. 6, 1954, in Odessa, Texas, she was the daughter of Luella Mae Roland Laging and the late Lawrence Laging of Yorktown, Texas. Zola was the loving wife of the late Stephen Glenn Shipley, of Fort Worth, Texas. She was preceded in death by an infant daughter.

Zola Kay enjoyed writing poetry. Her paintings and sketches are most adored.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Len Schendel, of Montgomery, Texas, and Kody Boyd, of Schreoder, Texas; three grandsons; granddaughter; sister, Lora Kim Laging; brother, Charles Laging (Janet); and many nieces and nephews.
