Wilbur “Jack” Sharpe was a native of Suffolk, presently living in Portsmouth. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran and retired from the Norfolk Naval Shipyard.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted, dedicated and loving wife, Marian D. Sharpe, children, grandchildren, a niece, a nephew, great-grandchildren, a host of other relatives and many dear friends.

A funeral will be held at noon Thursday, June 14, 2018, at First Baptist Church Mahan Street, Suffolk. The interment will follow at Albert G. Horton Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 13, 2018, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. The body will be in church at 11 a.m. Thursday.
