Store evacuated for Freon leak
Suffolk Fire & Rescue responded to the Food Lion on Portsmouth Boulevard for a Freon leak on Monday morning.
The leak happened in a maintenance room, city spokesman Tim Kelley said. The store was evacuated for a short time as a precaution.
The store had maintenance staff on hand working in the area with the leak occurred, Kelley stated.
There were no injuries.
