Valeria Warrix Webb, age 80, of Suffolk, formerly of Hancock County, Ind., and Lexington, Ky., passed away June 21, 2018.

She is the daughter of the late Virgil and Desama Warrix. She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, William “Bill” David Webb; her children, Elizabeth W. Petry and husband, Lowell, and William David Webb II and wife, Maria; six grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; her sisters, Diane Cooksey, of Lexington, Ky., and Pamela Keramati, of Jacksonville, Fla.; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Valeria was a graduate of Morehead State University, Morehead, Ky., and Ball State University, Muncie, Ind. She taught elementary school at Eastern Hancock Elementary in Charlottesville, Ind., for 31 years and for several years at Lexington Christian Academy in Lexington, Ky.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at Main Street United Methodist Church in Suffolk. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Main Street United Methodist Church, 202 N. Main St., Suffolk, VA 23434.
