Holly Kozak recently was recognized by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association for academic achievements.
Kozak is one of five Guilford College lacrosse players who were recognized for their academics by the IWLCA this week. Those honored maintained at least a 3.5 grade point average or higher. The former Nansemond-Suffolk Academy standout has been an academic standout since she stepped on the Guilford campus.
She has been selected to the Old Dominion Athletic Conference team for three straight years. Kozak enjoyed a career year her junior season, when she had 27 goals and accounted for 33 points.
The rising senior says academics have always been important to her, and the dedication she puts in reflects in her grades and accolades.
Kozak is a political science major with minors in English and Spanish.
