Doris “Dot” Byrd Powell, 87, died July 25, 2018, surrounded by her family. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 2018, in Bethlehem Christian Church, 1549 Holland Road, Suffolk, VA 23434. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Meadowbrook Memorial Gardens, 4569 Shoulders Hill Road, Suffolk, VA 23435.
