For the second time in four weeks, former Nansemond River High School standout Brandon Lowe has earned MLB Pipeline’s Prospect Team of the Week honors.

Last week Lowe had a strong week with his Triple-A team, the Durham Bulls. For the week of July 16 to 22, Lowe homered in four games, starting on Monday and then in three straight contests from Thursday to Saturday.

Lowe now has 21 combined home runs between the Double-A and Triple-A leagues, leading the Tampa Bay Rays organization. Lowe also had 33 RBIs in 37 games.

The Durham Bulls have a two-game lead over the second-place team in its division, the Norfolk Tides.

Lowe has continued to make an impact at every level of his career. At Nansemond River, Lowe performed well enough to grab a spot at his alma mater, the University of Maryland.
