Upon arrival, units found heavy fire coming from the roof of the residence, and firefighters made entry to search the residence, according to the release. No occupants were found inside.

The flames were extensive inside, and that led firefighters to attack the fire using the ladder trucks. They also had to work to protect the two neighboring structures.

The three adults that were displaced will be receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.

The rehab unit responded due to the extreme temperatures firefighters experienced.

The Fire Marshal’s Office will handle the investigation.
